I agree. Since some probably will never know what Dracula's Castle looked like, then someone should give them something to remember. What are the other non-ride attractions? I can remember on that corner it got so full, you couldn't even move; that was in the 70's and 80's. I also can't think of ANYONE who didn't like the castle. It caught your eye right away. That's why I just can't understand why they didn't rebuild. I guess with alot of these piers, it's alot of competition and if you're just a little guy, I guess it's rough. You need someone with the vision, like you said, but WITH the money, too.

Splash Zone sucks. I'm not a big fan of waterparks in general, personally i think body surfing in the atlantic is more of an adventure.

The best spot for body surfing is between 9 and 10th street on the beach in North Wildwood.
