The Haunted Mansion at Rehoboth Beach, DE. It was built by the same guy/company that helped build Dr. Blood's, what used to be Bill Tracy's company Amusement Displays changed names in the mid-70's after Tracy's death to Fantasies and Dreams and quit in 1979. Fantasies and Dreams also did work on Dorney Park's former dark ride Pirate's Cove and retitled it Bucket O' Blood in 1974. It burned down Sept. 1983. The guy of Fantasies and Dreams was Jim Melonic and I believe he's still alive. He basically took over the assets of Bill Tracy's company after his death. Bill Tracy's first dark ride was the Whacky Shack at Joyland Wichita, KS, in 1960 something and one of his last ones was the Whacky Shack at Waldameer, Erie, PA in 1970, and the Pirate's Cove there in 1972. The OC Haunted House was built 1962, and the former Hunt's Whacky Shack 1964, and there was a Crazy House funhouse by Tracy on Fun Pier (now Morey's south pier) built early 60's burned down Nov. 1984. Dorney Park's dark ride was rethemed Pirate's Cove in 1962, and old mill chute was rethemed Journey to the Center of the Earth in 1960, it was torn down after 1992 following Cedar Fair takeover. Also there was the Tracy Gold Mine walkthrough under the arcade in the old Dorney House, the Mine closed mid-80's, and was sealed off but intact all these years but torn down over a year ago and replaced with a new Subway sub shop, there was a Subway at the corner of the old house before. The Gold Mine had caves, like green walls, scenes behind glass like skeletons, bloody hand on the cave wall, rope bridge, bridge through golden colored rotating tunnel barrel, strobe jail like Pirate's Cove, then out.

What memories, robert!! I can picture that Goldmine and Arcade like it was yesterday.
