I just heard from Sven Pollmann on MCW that Faller will be releasing a rethemed version of the Monster Cave model as "Ghost Temple." It will be a pricey (~$250.00 USD) HO scale model of the actual ride which tours in Germany. I rather liked the Monster Cave theme better because it looked very simmilar to the Plushes ride that was on Hunt's Pier. Unfortunatly I had stopped building models around that time (like now) and didn't buy it when Faller had it. It was discoed shortly after. Now I will have the chance to buy this version and I hope I don't sleep on it this time. For those who don't know Faller is a high quality German model company that has a large back catalog of carnival (kirmes) models including the Zier Wave Swinger, Huss Breakdancer, Huss Rainbow, Mack Music Express, the Jupiter Ferris wheel with optional chasing light kit, and several roller coasters. I own many of their models but not all of them. I really need to get the Wave Swinger kit as its my favorite ride but I stopped building these models when it came out. I really aught to get that and this new darkride just to hold on to as I fear they will be discontinued by the time I'm ready to build them. Heres a link to photos of the real Monster Cave / Ghost Temple: www.kirmesfreunde.de/seiten/schausteller/fellerhoff.html
