I know that the painting slides up, and i've seen the pic of it with the light on. But my question is how did the light shut off so when the door opened you couldn't see dracula comming out.

Theworst appeared and was singing and dancing. He sounded like a really old 45 recording coming in off some AM radio station. It was the one though, welcome, Beelzebub.

Castle Dracula was basically low tech except for that electrocution stunt they added where Grandfather was at the end of the Cellblock hall. It was classic 70's horror similar to Brigantine Castle but smaller and shorter. Skull Kingdom in Orlando is probably one of the closest attractions to Brigantine and Dracula in terms of the size, interior sets and stunts, actors, and the castle like exterior.

Guess you missed the animatronics that were in the Cell block..or Frankenstein that jumped from his chair...or 'Grandma' that sat up in her coffin and screamed and reached her arms out...(had fun with that at my apt.) or the 'changing Dracula'(which really was a pain in the arse...or the flying ghost, the moving dudes in the Dungeon...Uncle Theo...

Ahh...the black paint!! Just had to remember which cup was coffee, and which was paint! Trying to paint in the dark on a little boat wasn't the easiest thing to do!
I held that damn light still..well..as still as I could after all the caffine and 'cat food'!
