AM I missing something here but why the hell were there 66 people on this board at the same time on July 4th 2007 at 12:30 AM? Was Robert doing some kind of wackjob freakshow? Were some old Castle gals on webcam flashing??? Can someone explain all of this.....by the way this board and site needs some new updates or fresh material.

by the way this board and site needs some new updates or fresh material. I agree proteus, we do need new material. The website is a past-time for my brother and myself and it is hard fitting it into our daily lives. We do have big plans for a new design to the entire site, but it is taking some time since everything needs to be rebuilt from ground up. In the meantime, I did add a new article about the Great Adventure Haunted Castle. Hope you enjoy. www.darkinthepark.com/GA/GA1.htm

Sorry for the rant guys. I just love this site. It brings back so many great memories for me as well as all the other people who visit the site. I always love to find new articles or additions to the site. Great new article on the Great Adventure Haunted Castle. Bodysurfer posted these 2 pics awhile back. Maybe you can get clearance to use them to accompany your article. Here are the links. amusementpics.com/Postcards/Scan10023.jpgwww.amusementpics.com/GA%20Rides/Haunted%20Castle/HC1.jpgI also am looking forward to finally hearing the great robot Dracula speech that you guys purchased. Please get that up and running in the Castle Dracula section ASAP. It will be so emotional for me to hear it again. Thanks again for all of your work. We appreciate all of it.

Yeah, the Dracula speech is tops on my list as well. I have more memories of the speech than the actual castle. Heck, i'd even buy a copy myself if I could.

You don't need to apologize proteus. I know we need new articles and updates to remain relevant. I like new stories when I visit other sites. It's just hard when it's not your full-time gig and you have a family. As for the Castle Dracula sounds...that is high on the list of things to do. I need to add a whole new "sounds" section to the castle dracula site...but I want to wait until the site is reconfigured before I add that section...otherwise I'm doing the work twice. If I'm not done it by Halloween, I promise I will add at least the dracula speech as a halloween gift.

So Bill did you get a chance yet to get the Dracula speech up and running yet? Would love to blast it loud from my house on Halloween night for all the little kiddies. Let us know we are all waiting to hear it again. Thanks.

Let us know we are all waiting to hear it again. Thanks. Don't worry...we will have the sounds online by Halloween...or probably the night before Halloween. I've been working on the new Castle Dracula sound page for the past couple of days and things are coming along fine. There will be 4 sounds on the page to start things off...and the dracula speech will be one of them.

Awesome. Great news. I can't wait to see what you got. Do you have the soundtrack from the Dungeon that Alan had on his site called the Dude? If not its on the Castle Dracula web page under ripping yarns. That is a great sound clip as well. Thanks again for your work on your site and all the cool stuff. It's very much appreciated.

Yes, we will also be adding the Shamron sound track to our site. That track was recorded by the same company that made the mechanical dracula. We got that track when we purchased the Castle Dracula track.

I have an unfinished virtual Castle Dracula in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. You can assign a music track to a ride or a speaker that's on a pole that you can place anywhere. I used the log flume for the Dungeon boat ride and the mini golf path without golf holes for the walkthrough Castle part. However, there is no 3D walkthrough with the mini golf, but you can ride the log flume. There are billboards of different sizes that you can put your own image on so I could have the Dracula painting in the front room on a square billboard. In a dark ride custom scenery pack called Screamworx, there is a chandelier with glowing candles that's perfect for the front room.
