Vince Kostek, former Hunt's Pier manager passed away June 11. He was there from 1957-1985. He used to greet people on the pier. Those were the good old days of the pier. I was there in the final years of the Hunt ownership. I bet Bud Hunt or Vince were on the pier when I was there. I remember everything that's in Bill's article. I can't count how many times I rode the train ride, the Keystone Kops, Jungleland, Golden Nugget, and walked through the Pirate Ship. I remember on the Golden Nugget on the roof that water would pour down from one of the roofs that you passed under and the water would shut off just in time. It would be a shame to lose the Nugget, it's all we have left.

Isn't the Nugget just sitting there empty? Heard it's in bad shape.
