Hello...I will be going to Wildwood NJ in July. I will be staying at the Ocean Sands Motel which is located in Wildwood. I would like some information from those of you who know Wildwood, NJ. Is the Ocean Sands Motel a good place (what is your opinions)? Please recommend two nice places I can go to get a great Seafood/Steak dinner. What place is close to the Ocean Sands Motel that I can get breakfast? I have never been to Wildwood so any insights you guys on here can give me is very much appreciated. Thanks!

I tell everyone to go to the red oak for breakfast. Its on oak ave behind the beach terrace motel. For dining try Neils steak & chowder house (wildwood) or the lobster house over the bridge in cape may. One of the best diners is the rio grande diner. They have a very good reputation. Oh, Also try schellengers for dining. They do a real good job in there!

Uncle Bill's Pankehouse is good for breakfast...Neils is good the Lobster House is better, but always a vary long wait (but you can check out the fish market while you wait!) There is also Two Mile Inn between Cape May and Wildwood Crest...before the toll bridge as you head to Cape May. There is the Lobster Shack right off the Boardwalk at Wildwood Ave..and Duffy's on the Lake in Wildwood Crest.(I think this is a byob, as they do not sell liuor in the Crest)

Thank you for the info, very much appreciated! I forgot to ask in my orginal post if it is better to go on the boardwalk and Morey's Piers all in one shot or is it better I visit Morey's Pier one night and the next night do the boardwalk?

Probably best to do two seperate nights. That way you can just wander down the B'Walk one night and check out all the shops and games and such then hit the rides the next. When you go to Morey's, you will have to buy wristbands for the rides...but the band is good for all three piers. Lots of rides and you have to take in consideration the time it takes to get to the other piers.

Don't forget to ride Dante's, ha, ha. Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. And visit the museum to see some of the lost attractions and models of Castle Dracula, Golden Nugget by Anthony Canzano MrBoardwalk. He has a great article now on the lost Castle Frankenstein of Fun Pier (where Great White's loading station is now). It operated from 1978 to 1982 and burned 1984. I personally remember seeing it at night sometime between 1980-1982. It creeped me out just looking at the front and I didn't go in. Same thing with Morey's lost Haunted House (1972-1984) on the 25th St. Surfside pier. Walk-through, live actors. This is the same pier where Curse of the Mummy is but in my opinion they should have built a new Castle Frankenstein instead.
