It looks like all of these crappy rides were like the Kids World over taking of the Haunted Mansion of Long branch. Haunted house rides for 5 year olds. LAME LAME LAME

Great article. The three on Clifton Hill have the same names as their former WW counterparts, you know, Frankenstein, Castle Dracula and the Haunted House. Nothing will ever beat Brigantine Castle or perhaps Skull Kingdom in Orlando but for those of you in the northeast, the falls have the scariest permanent (non-October, Halloween only) haunted attractions anywhere. And the most number in one place. Only WW and Coney Island ever had the highest number of haunted rides in one area. Did you, Seph miss the Ghost Blasters dark ride inside the Canadian Midway arcade? It's a newer dark ride that opened in 2002. It's similar to the Den of Lost Thieves, but you shoot at ghosts. Paramount Parks has a bunch of these types of rides themed to Scooby-Doo. And don't forget to check out the new haunted castle ride at Busch Gardens Williamsburg sometime. It's state-of-the-art.

Don't forget Spookyworld in Mass. in Boston area also had the most haunted attractions in one place but I think it was October only. It closed for some reason and was auctioned off. But, according to their website, they're coming back this year in a new location. There's also Salem. I think some of the attractions there (Dracula's Castle, etc.) are open spring and summer, too. But all the attractions in Niagara Falls are open year-round sort of like Disney World. You could go there in Dec./Jan. and get your horror fix. Most other places are closed for the season. The only other dark rides open in the winter would be the Disney ones, Disneyland/WDW. Or Skull Kingdom in Orlando.
