Ok, this had better be true! No lies! I want more information! Where in WW? One of the piers, or in a vacant spot on the boardwalk? What theme will it be? I have been waiting patiently for something like this to happen. Last time you could visit Castle Dracula it was a month after the Twin Towers fell and the US had invaded Afghanistan. Then, the following year the two son of a's torched it. Although Zombie World debuted, it's another ride through with guns. For the first time, WW was lacking a quality walkthrough, although Morey's still has that Curse of the Mummy in a tent with a false front. I traveled to different places searching for the ultimate haunted house, from Lake George, NY www.darkridethrills.com/page.cfm?pagea=9 to Niagara Falls, ON Canada (article on this site) and Virginia Beach, VA where they have the Haunted Fun House, Nightmare Mansion and Rockin' Rosie's Fun House (now 3D Fun House?) Also Myrtle Beach has a couple of haunts on the main downtown strip, Ripley's, and Nightmare Haunted House although the Pavilion Park was torn down after 50 years and the 1978 Haunted Hotel dark ride was razed March 2007. Also there was a Castle Dracula Wax Museum next to the Ripley's BION museum but it closed after 1982 and it's now a t-shirt shop on the first floor. Here is a link to pics and info on that Castle Dracula including a scan of an original brochure (you have to scroll down to see it) htomc.dns2go.com/myrtle/ Ok, enough rant about the other haunted houses, I hope this WW haunt is reality, not fantasy. It's too bad the Nickels have done nothing with their property in terms of building a new haunt where Drac was. And I hope to see the Golden Nugget open to the public soon. With the loss of Hollowgraves Haunted Manor as a summer haunt, NJ could use all the summer haunts it can get. Just don't let the state find some fault with it and shut it down.

Please Lorenzo, explain what is going on with this walk-through. Where is it going to be located, on a pier, or on the boardwalk? What theme will it be? The church dinner conflicted with the trick-or-treat rain date which was Sat. night in Oct. instead of Friday which rained all day. We were going to do a patio haunt and we had to scrub it.

Ok robert, put your tounge back in your mouth and stop drooling. if you were smart enough, you would see they are just fooling you. nothing new is coming to wildwood, if it was, dont ya think we hear it from the local news BEFORE we seen it here?? so back down robert, and be sure no new walkthrough darkride is coming anytime soon.

WW is an amusement park tomb stone.
If they ever have a new walk through dark ride it will be called "The Ghosts of Wildwoods Past" and it will feature the inventory of the FWB WW Museum because it is the FWB Museum.
The last time I was there, all my fun was had at that museum because thats all WW is now... history. I'm not going back, that place is so depressing. Why go there in person when I can cry about it on these message boards.

Hey the nugget still stands. Dr Bloods stood there, but died. The nugget can't die cause if they even dare touch it it will cause abestis.

I'd have a better chance on going to other places for summer walk throughs. But, Ripley's, Halloween Productions could build a new walk-through in WW, but it's all about money. No one wants to take the risk. Did Lorenzo work for Castle Dracula? I don't even know where they'd put one except on Sportland Pier, or somewhere on the boardwalk.

Hiya Kat,it's great to hear from a fellow Mansionite. Say,did you also work at the dreaded Jade Green Haunted Theater? If so,are you the same Kat,who used to kill me 12 times a night in the Frankenstein skit? That was alot of fun.
The Wildwood thing is real?...WOW! ...I Thought Mr.Lorenzo was just having fun, torturing the resident Dark Ride addics.
