What's up y'all, it' been a while since i've posted last so I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I just drove by an attraction called scareworld just over the Pa/De state line on the delware side and noticed this place being set up. www.scareworld.com/initial.html Look's pretty wild, it's on rt 92 in Claymont, De. Another great attraction (not a haunt) is Total Wines right up the street. Place took my breath away. www.wineaccess.com/store/totalwine-claymont/

I wish I could go to this. $30 for unlimited re-entry's to 7 haunts is a good deal. It would just be a ride down the Turnpike/I-476 for us, but I don't think my mom is up to traveling far right now. Plus Dorney Park is doing their weekend HalloWeekend haunts now until Oct. 28. You can go in them unlimited times. With our season passes, it's costing us almost nothing since the pass pays for itself after a few visits. There are 2 scary walk-through attractions Doctor of Doom in 3D in the Art Deco movie theater themed Funzone Arcade building and Scream Works behind the Laser coaster at the bottom end of the park which was constructed a few years ago from two picnic pavilions joined together in the back to create a U-shaped building for the haunt. There is a non-scary fun house Magical House on Boo Hill below the giant Ferris Wheel with mirror maze, colored mine shaft, clown scenes including Alfundo the park's former mascot until 1988 (ramp up with four large clown heads painted on boards that move slant toward you and back, 2 clowns on each side) and funny alien scenes, a disco room with UFO, and aliens on walls, and last an orange and green polka dot room with actors in polka dot suits blending in with the walls and surprising visitors. Earth, Wind, and Fire's 1979 Boogie Wonderland plays in the house. The 1935 Zephyr train ride is temporarily closed from Sept. 4 until next year for the construction of the VooDoo LIM coaster along the lower midway before Laser coaster. The site was vacant for the past few years since a tall thrill ride left for another park. The Zephyr tracks at the construction site are ripped up for now and the train itself is parked back past the Laser.
