It was built by the now defunct Funni-Frite company of Ohio. The park wanted to clear all the land by spring and anything left unsold would be demolished. Now Myrtle Beach has no haunted RIDE-THROUGH, but they have two haunted WALK-THROUGHS. Whereas, in NY, NJ, MD walk-throughs are rare but there are ride-throughs. There are no summer or year-round walk-through haunts in Pennsylvania except for Waldameer's Pirate's Cove and Kennywood's Noah's Ark. PA now has 3 working Pretzel type rides. Knoebels Haunted Mansion, Waldameer's Whacky Shack, and Kennywood's Gold Rusher. All the others are closed or gone. If I want walk-through haunted houses in July I need to go out of state, and the closest ride-through to me now is Knoebels or Stillwalk Manor, Seaside.
