cgi.ebay.com/Dorney-Park-Allentown-PA-Group-of-Brochures-1978-87_W0QQitemZ190094714117QQcategoryZ13878QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem I have all of these. The ones with just Dorney Park on them were from when Bob Ott ran the park. I mentioned that he just passed away on March 3rd at 88. His wife Sally passed Feb. The ones with the Wildwater Kingdom splash logo were from when Harris Weinstein ran the park 1985-1992. Bob Ott sold the park to Weinstein who is married to Debora Plarr, Steve Plarr's daughter. Steve was the son of former park owner Bob Plarr, Sr. Both passed in 1966-1967. There was also a Robert W. Plarr who was a vice president at the park in the 70's-80's until the park was sold in 1992. I hear that Dorney has big plans for expansion that they want to expand the park into the current parking lot and relocate parking and the entrance. I think they're trying to grow too much to compete with SF Great Adv. and other major parks like Hershey. Well, Cedar Fair has a lot of money. Thos brochures were from the time when DP had it's old dark rides, the Bucket O' Blood burned Sept 1983 and the Gold Mine closed about 1985. The Gold Mine/Arcade building was razed over a year ago. The mine was sealed off all those years and the caves were still down there.
