Well you were right about the pictures being crap! Why didn't you get on the beach to see what they were throwing out? If it was something good I would have tried to bargen with the doods in the dump truck.

It was so freakin cold and the wind was just about as bad as it could be. I can assure you that there was not anything going into that dump truck that was worth saving. As I said before, The monsters face and arms are resting on the pier. To the best of my knowledge, the other props that were worth saving were takin in by a private collector.

My theory is that NWW is pushing for redevelopment, including the former shops pier as well as the cleanup of Sportland. It looks so weird now without the scary ride there. Is there any way you can find out where the other props went? What would be the purpose in saving the ride carts? Where are they? This dark ride wasn't the only one to bite the dust in the past few years across the US, other ones were lost due to park closings, etc. It's a depressing trend. Morey's better save the Nugget at all costs and keep Dante's. I suppose it's impossible to find out where the remains are being hauled off to. That wood front with the jagged opening and openings on both sides for the balconies, what happened to that? Scrapped? What about the props like the skull and rock walls, and the organ, clock, and the barrel? And Crazy, Mike, do you have any freakin idea why Ted did this?

I think we can all take a well educated guess as to who has all of the props.

As someone mentioned, The city of north wildwood most likley made him get rid of it. As far as the props go. Im starting to go down to wildwood alot again so I will find out where everything is at. It might take some time if things are kept quiet. As I said before, Ted owns Sportland and Casino Pier. He has not done anything with either piers. I dont see ted making any out of pocket changes for these places.

Well it was Ted's fault for doing nothing with Dr. Blood in the past several years other than some cosmetic things and cleaning up the front (there was piles of wood there with tarps on them-I have a photo) and putting the fence there and stabilizing the balconies. He waited too long to restore it. Why would Ted hold on to the piers if nothing is being done on them other than go-kart rides? And this is just a theory, is the reason Dr. Blood's closed related to the Mars fire? The Mars fire was 1964, but Dr. Blood's was built in the 70's and closed in the early 80's not sure what year. The Mars fire is probably the reason why Gilbert Ramagosa wound up closing both piers and selling them off by the 1980's. Casino Arcade closed 1980 and Sportland closed 1984 I think and they were sold in 1985. Did Ramagosa sell them to Ted in 1985, or to someone before Ted? When did the other rides like Hell Hole and Supersonic Coaster start to disappear? I have a postcard of Morey's Pier from about 1985 and it shows Sportland dark in the background with Dr. Blood and you can still see the crooked front roof on top where it said Horror House. When did they strip the front down and make it flat on the top facade?
