I just got internet back after a few days and I saw that Casino Pier's Stillwalk Manor was lost to the storm, the entire back end of the pier fell into the water. So, now we have lost another custom dark ride to Mother Nature. Most of them are lost to fires, like the old walkthroughs were, but this time it's a hurricane that claimed one. It was in a bad location anyway, being at the very end of the pier over the water, it was doomed if a big storm ever hit the east coast. It seemed this was the worst storm in half a century because I've never seen such widespread damage in my lifetime and the Casino Pier stood all those years. Wildwood's piers thank God didn't get hit as hard and it seems all haunted rides/attractions there are still standing from Morbid Manor to Dante's to Ghost Ship, etc. Ocean City, NJ, just built a new dark ride at Wonderland pier and there's also a new Zombie House on the boardwalk. The Haunted Manor on Funtown in Seaside survived but most of the rest of the pier was destroyed. Ferris Wheel still standing it looks like. I hope Casino and Funtown can rebuild and that somehow, Casino can build a new haunted ride to replace Stillwalk. Maybe they can hire Lou Nasti from NY again, for new props if he's still in business. This storm was WAY WORSE than Irene.
