I enjoy the irony of the link above of someone posting photos of a sign asking please not to take photos.
Many containers were delivered to the site yesterday. What was in them I can't really say.
It is my understanding that Terry O'Brien will be managing the new attraction and giving up his life as Terry O'ke and Undertow guy.
Anyway, if you've been up on Mariner's Landing anytime on the last week or so the construction leaves little doubt as to the theme. Glad to see enthusiasm building here on the interwebs.

I had a feeling it was going to be the Ghost Ship. When the framework started going up vertically a few weeks ago, I immediately knew what it was going to be. Once the final shape emerged under the red tarp, there was no question as to what it was. But, it originally was going to be a wood pirate ship with a skull entrance, did Jack or Will change his mind over the past year? But, what is the final title of the attraction? The ship is called Ignis Fatuus, but is the attraction called Ghost Ship? I saw a Ghost Ship sign on a news site. About the Morey's, what are the original brothers doing that started back in 1969 with the slide, and then the original Morey's Surfside Pier in 1970? Are they retired now, letting their sons run the piers? Wilbert Morey passed away in Jan 1998, was he one of the two brothers? The other brother is William, Bill Morey? Funny how back in the late 70's early 80's 4 of the piers were being run by a William. William Morey, William D. "Bud" Hunt, and William Howard (Fun Pier). Maybe I should beg my mom to take us back to Wildwood this summer! I hope this isn't the only custom haunted attraction for Wildwood. I hope in the future Morey's or an independent opens up yet another one. They do have Curse of the Mummy, and there's supposed to be a new walk-through haunt in the former Zombie World, but Lorenzo might be lying about that as I haven't found any info to verify it so for now I'll assume that info is false until I see it with my own eyes. Fat chance that the Nickels will do anything now with rebuilding a haunted attraction. I wish the new Ghost Ship much success.

Thank you very much, Sean for confirming the truth of the new haunt in Zombie World. Now we get two walkthroughs this year plus the mirror maze. But, when is the other haunt on the boardwalk in the former zombie spot supposed to open? Now Nickels better get on the ball and give us a new Castle Dracula, lol. At least by 2015, lol.

He didn't mention anything about an opening date, but let's hope it's before things really get cranking down there this summer. I'll try to find out more when he gets back home tonight.

UPDATE: Last night my friend talked to the guy who runs the sunglasses shop next door to Zombie World. He said he believes they were hoping to have the new 3-D Walkthrough ready to go later this weekend. He also said they'd be charging $3.00 per person per ride.

Can you find out what the theme is going to be and what's going to happen to the sunglass depot since it blocks one half of the Zombie area. To the right is a shuttered metal door. Are they going to fix up the facade and put up a new facade for this new attraction? What is the name of the glow in the dark mini golf and is it still open this year?

Sorry Robert, that's all I know about it so far. I'm sure some more info & pics will emerge soon. If not, I'll be down there in three weeks and can give a full report then.

Its called Horror city in 3d opened Friday night yes the ride is used in part of the walk through , It still has some tweaking to do but for the most part its pretty cool Horror city has a lot of UV 3D art work done by Stuart Smith the top blacklight airbrush artist in the world , there are no photos as of yet because flash photography doesn't work well with the UV lights
