A seller on ebay(uniqueoddities) keeps constantly putting up things like lamps and pitchforks that he claims he aquired at a former Castle workers garage sale. Right now he has a chandelier on auction until April 4. Are there any Castle workers out there that can verify if this item was displayed in the Castle?

This guy is full of crap and all his stuff is fake. Do not be fooled by his lies.

To be honest, yes it could be from anywhere, but i lived in ac for my summers and spent allot of time at brigantine castle. this does look very similar to what they had there. it wasnt all fancy stuff inside. looking at it i do recognize the design but it don't ring a bell if that was it. hes in brigantine and has a few good comments on his buyer profile.(don't mean hes legit) but just adding my two cents that something about it looks familiar

I think Crippled visions hit the nail on the head I was too embarrassed to admit this before, but I got suckered into buying this guys "Brigantine Devil's Pitchfork" which was really a fancy weenie roaster for campfire outings. When I asked him if he had any information about it from it's former owner he responded with"I hope you brought it because you liked it not because you think it came from the Castle". I wrote him back with a pissed off reply,so he changed his tune. Then he tried to sell me some masks from the Castle. Latex masks will start to rot after a few years and almost fully decompose after 20 years so I knew he was full of crap. I could'nt leave him bad feedback because if I did he could retaliate and ruin my 100% feedback.Once I had his address, I almost paid him a suprise visit, but decided to stay out of trouble instead and chaulk it up to my own stupidity. Uniqueoddities has since put up several other "Brigantine Castle merchandise" up.It's all cheap yardsale merchandise and none of it's horror related. In his ebay store he now has an old sock drawer with junk on it that he claims is an antique Atlantic City Fortune tellers table. That about says it all.

This guy has been selling fake "props" from Castle Dracula and Brigantine Castle for years now. Every now and again he tries to sell door knockers from Castle Dracula...the only problem is that Castle Dracula never had any door knockers...ever! Here is a picture of what the chandeliers in Brigantine Castle actually looked like:

Verminsnot, Latex masks can last a lifetime if cared for properly, but if someone claimed to have 20+ year old used masks stored in a hot garage they definitely would be half rotted if not completely rotted. Bill, those knockers didn't come form CD, they came from Lucifer's Lair..

True, serious mask collecters, like Bob Burns and Dr.Lady have preserved masks from the 70's.But I doubt any collecter would put out classic Don Post Studio masks in a neiborhood garage sale.Expecially after decades of maintenance and proper storing. To preserve Brigantine's masks,it would take that kind of dedication.
I noticed that all of uniqueodditie's Castle chandeleirs all have regular light bulbs.Brigantine and the Long Branch Haunted Mansion only used theatrical red-element bulbs in their small fixtures.A good example is on the Lucifer photo in the Mansion's interior picture section.

Lightbulbs can be replaced.

Yeah, but why would someone replace bulbs on a fixture that was never reinstalled.

He's at it again! Uniqueoddities is selling 2 modern masks as "Brigantine Castle" props. At least he's got no bids this time.

Well, thats a Late 80's Don Post Glow in the Dark "Moon Fan" mask. It's DEFINITELY not from Brigantine Castle.
I should have checked the board sooner. Thats a VERY rare mask, I'm PO'd I missed it. And for that price...ARRGGGHH

Odd would it be if I could find the preserved DNA of dragons, clone them with a special gene that allows survival without oxygen. And then we could send them to the moon where they would provide an endless night show every night of the year, thus ending Wildwood's legacy of being a summer-only resort, all year now!
