I think every shore resort should build a new castle! It would be so nice to visit each one all year long. Thats if I could get a ride to them and borrow some money of my parents.

Hey, I do have transportation. For example if I wanted to visit the lovely attractions at the falls, we could take the bus, or Amtrak train from NY (plus bus to NY from where we live) if we didn't want to drive that far. The only problem is if they hold us up at the border. Or, there's a bus from NY to Seaside Heights where those dark rides are, and of course there's bus service to Wildwood. They should bring back the Cape May train all the way through to connect to Philly. Right now, it's a limited tourist train. I don't know of any bus to Rehoboth, DE or Ocean City, MD from Philly. There's great dark rides in those two places.

Well, I guess the castle's never coming back, the lot is all sucky condos now, just like Wildwood. Pretty soon the whole Jersey Shore will be condos. Our only hope for a new haunted attraction is either go to Seaside and visit the Haunted Manor, or go to Florida and go to Skull Kingdom, or go to Niagara Falls, Canada and the several haunted attractions there. Wildwood? Curse of the mummy is the only walk through now. I bet it sucks, I was never in it. I have soooo many memories of that crazy castle. I worked as a food runner for the actors at the age of 11. It was fun and a great place to pick up girls that came down from PA. No, they will never rebuild anything like that remotely sad to say. Anyone remember the Reflections Arcade across the street from the castle? Man, they had great funnel cake. Also, how about Tucker's Pizza on the castle pier? I can't forget the Pirate's Den that had awesome home fries.

Is the Pirate's Den still there? I know it was a couple years ago. Yes, it sure is. I brought my wife and son there for the first time March, 2005. Also, my good friend still eats there once a week. I must admit that I miss Fryer Tuck's pizza. (Tucker's) If you liked the pizza, too, you can always go to Primo Pizza near the lighthouse. It's the same owners....yummmmmyyyy

With all the rising property values on the shore, it's highly unlikely we'll ever see another haunted castle ever again except what ever is currently there, if even those dark rides survive. The former working middle class shore towns are being transformed into upscale high-end, yuppie towns with all the condos (like Long Branch and Wildwood) I don't see any new haunted mansion or castle in LB or WW's future.
