I know its not a darkride, but the new coaster extends over Hunts Pier, a wooden coaster to be exact. Its very cool, and unique looking. And there was a picture showing the coaster design, and the Golden Nugget. Does this mean there opening it? I heard somewhere that they might extend the pier and place some rides on Hunts Pier.

I wish Morey's would just freaking rebuild the Flyer. And add new dark rides on Hunt's Pier to compliment the Nugget. Like a haunted mansion ride, or a new walk-through. In 1989/1990 when half the old rides were missing, mostly on the left side, all were torn down early 1989, Flyer, train, mini hot rods, Jungleland, Pirate Ship, they added some haunted walk-throughs to the pier, I think 2 someone told me. One of them was behind the Nugget and was called Mystery Mansion or something, and it was a facade with trailers like the Great Adventure Haunted Castle. So, Hunt's in that time period before they went bankrupt and sold a second time in 1991, (Bud Hunt sold fall 1985) they at least had several decent dark rides, Hunt's Horror (formerly Whacky Shack), Keystone Kops, Sourier Grotte, Golden Nugget, Mystery Mansion, and ? Now, there's none except the closed Nugget. Morey's is the worst of all the past owners of Hunt's Pier because they did nothing with it. But, if they can do something big for 2009, 2010, they might have a chance of making the pier great again. Only Jack and Will (or Bill? is he retired) know what's up their sleeves. Just don't let the Nugget crumble and fall apart in the meantime.

If Morey's extended their pier out over the ocean and across the sea to Ireland they could build a super fast rollercoaster to transport the transfer students who work on the pier in the summer. They could even build a super slingshot to shoot people into space and eventually back down to safety net in Europe somewhere.
